Jakarta police has been leading an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor at a juvenile detention center.
Detainees have been placed in different locations in the city and surrounding areas as police work to find the suspect.
A woman was sexually assaulted at the Bandung Juvenile Detention Center last Friday.
Indonesia is among a number of countries that have implemented new policies aimed at tackling the rise in sexual abuse in detention facilities.
In February, a man was sentenced to 10 years in jail after being convicted of sexually assaulting two boys in the Indonesian island of Java.
