Posted January 13, 2019 12:29:11The next time we get a call from Costco asking us to become a Costco employee, there’s a good chance that it’s because we’ve worked there for more than a year.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are more than 9.4 million people in the United States who hold some form of employment at a Costco store.
Those people work for Costco for about $5.40 an hour.
But many of them do so for different reasons, according to Chris Hargrove, Costco’s director of operations and marketing.
The Costco employees include warehouse managers, sales reps, warehouse managers and food service staff.
Costco’s average salary is about $27,000.
The bulk of the work is at the company’s retail stores, which are located in the West and Northeast coasts.
Costco sells food, groceries and other merchandise, and offers more than 70 different kinds of services.
The company also operates a large warehouse in the Pacific Northwest and employs about 300 people.
